About us
Our team brings experience, judgement and commercial awareness to organisations operating in complex, scrutinised environments. We work alongside leaders at moments that shape long-term outcomes – whether navigating change, engaging stakeholders, strengthening positioning or preparing for growth.
We do not treat communications as an isolated function. We integrate strategy, narrative and activation so engagement supports informed decision-making and builds durable credibility. Our role is to turn complexity into clarity and ensure that reputation, relationships and results move in the same direction.
Ardesey combines foresight, challenge and calm to help organisations act with confidence when it matters most.
Rachael
With 25 years of experience across multiple industries, Rachael leads Ardesey with a focus on outcomes. Outside of work, she was the 2024 President of the CIPR and active in Women in Defence UK.

Our values
Ardesey’s work is guided by six value pillars:
Strategic foresight – anticipating future narratives, risks and opportunity.
Learning fast – understanding new contexts quickly so advice is timely and relevant.
Outcome-driven credibility – earning trust through results, not claims.
Leading with people – placing empathy and human insight at the centre of decisions.
Embedded partnership – working within the heart of client thinking and decision-making.
Responsible leadership – acting with integrity and long-term accountability.
Giving back
We believe the sectors we work in are stronger when experience and insight are shared.
Ardesey supports professional communities, industry bodies and emerging leaders through advisory input, mentoring and practical contribution. Where we can add value, we do, including through pro bono work.
This isn’t separate from our core work. It keeps us connected, informed and grounded in the environments that shape policy, business and public life.
